The WORLD CUP is still going on, but Ghana isn't. They did well until they didn't. We should still be proud of them. Electricity outages are the norm in Ghana, but during the matches there weren't any. Interesting how that works.
And now we are ready to start our summer program. For the first time we'll be working with expressive art therapists from around the world. A 2 week workshop. Our aim is to bring creative people together. This should do it!
What's next? In September we'll start planning. If you'd like to get information about upcoming workshops you can sign our mailing list at http://www.culturalcollaborative.org. We send out a newsletter every month or so.
We wish you all a creative summer.

ABA wrote a book
After many years in Ghana I just felt the urge to put my
adventures in print. These are vignettes - all true . The amazing thing about Ghana is that no matter how many times you go, there are new stories to tell.
Some of them are funny, some are sad and some "make me scratch my mind". That and the title are Talk Truisms. If you've come to Ghana with Cross Cultural Collaborative, you have met him. If you haven't, you should.
If you'd like to order a copy:
Send a check or money order to:
Cross Cultural Collaborative
45 Auburn St.
Brookline,MA 02446 USA
Each copy is $18.00 which includes shipping in the USA. If you want it shipped elsewhere, we can check the cost.

Here's the cover of our book. It's on the way to the printers.
It's hard to put into a catagory. A little autobiographical, a little informational, and a lot of observations by Ellie about her 30 years in Ghana. It came partly from all the orientations for new arrivals at Aba House.
After being in Ghana a few days visitors think they've got it all figured out. They don't.
To pre-order a copy contact aba@culturalcollaborative.org
Cost of book is $15.00. Free shipping in the USA if you mention this blog.
All proceeds from sales go to educating the Aba House kids.
